Sustainable Businesses
Andrea has highlighted small businesses that are committed to a sustainable economy. They strive to reduce carbon emissions and lessen waste through their daily practices that align with clean living.
Bow to the Bee
Bow to the Bee is a sustainable jewelry company that strives to conserve bee populations. To create brand awareness, Andrea launched a three-week digital marketing campaign that focused on sustainability copywriting and ad placement. Andrea created social media ads that targeted outdoor communities such as Bend, Oregon, Boulder, Colorado, and San Francisco, California. The ads converted and successfuly reached people interested in the environmental cause.
From a brand awareness standpoint, the first week of the campagin focused on educating the public about bee conservation and why the pollinators are dying at rapid rates. To illustrate how this is a problem on a greater scale, Andrea touched on how bees pollinate our world’s produce, making them fundamental to food systems and food security. The second week focused on the founder’s personal story - her passion for bees and gardening, and how she came up with the business idea during the pandemic lockdowns. And finally, the third week honed in on the company’s sustainability practices by crafting the jewelry with recycled gold.
The content did enormously well and multiplied engagement on the page. It successfully reached bee conservation groups, non-profits, and interested gift shops that sell climate-conscious products that hold meaning.
