Andrea Marvin is a freelancer based in far Northern California. Her copywriting, digital marketing, and public relations work focuses on sustainability initiatives, environmental topics, healthy food systems, and small business development.

Andrea's work has been used as an example at the federal and state level showcasing how successful community outreach can be achieved with the use of compelling content and messaging on digital platforms, breaking down complex topics such as transitioning off the main grid to microgrids, and the overall push for clean transportation. Her digital outreach helped non-profits gain national attention for their sustainability efforts - they were featured in the Washington Post, NPR, and Associated Press.

She has worked with federally recognized Native American Tribes in Northwestern California, as well as educational institutions such as Cal Poly Humboldt. Further, she has partnered with sustainability-minded businesses across the country and helped them grow, and assisted non-profits worldwide with obtaining recognition and support.

Prior to transitioning to public relations, Andrea was a reporter for over a decade and worked at television stations across the country in locations such as California, New York, South Florida, and Illinois. During her time as a Special Projects Reporter in South Florida, Andrea won an Emmy for her storytelling. She has been recognized by the Society of Professional Journalists, Associated Press, Investigative Reporters and Editors, and was nominated for an Edward Murrow award.
